I hurt at the thought of the phismosis. Thought it was normal. Welp. I just hope I can be asleep for the procedure and that my head can be numb for a while that area gets used to rubbing on my underwear.

@SaadBinAlamgir3345 They simply left because they didn't care to continue the occupation. Government had no support. It's nothing like a conventional war.

@disposabull Except that they don't have that yet. They don't have lots of emp and China probably doesn't think they even need them. Though if you fact prove me wrong fair point. However I doubt they'd use that on what they believe is an easy victory. Most armies haven't adapted to 21st century warfare. And most 21st century warfare isn't that anyway. 21st century warfare isn't physical. It's ideological for hearts and minds. For political power. War is for getting people's stuff. And you're not going to get it by trading lives anymore. You make it so that you convince people to give you stuff and make it so stuff can be made by you instead of by others. Influencing the people of a nation to get rid of leaders that don't like you and back leaders that will. That's the new and current warfare. You're not fighting for lives and territory but people and influence. You want land? You buy it or take it in bad deals. You want stuff? You make a deal that requires them to give it back when they can't pay. Or you just buy it with money. You want influence? You back leaders and promote propaganda across a populace. Invasions are an old warfare tactic. It was for stuff and influence. That's the old way. Not the new.

@jerrysun44 Here's the thing: it's not like the Chinese are without brain. The issue is that China all has forced hands. There are only so many beaches that CAN be landed on. China can only cross over that 60 mile straight. China can only sail through a specific window. China can't make a small sneak invasion. There is just a lot of can and can't. China doesn't have a robust amphibious fleet. This entire battle is about preparedness. There's a reason Taiwan hasn't been invaded for 60 years. This seems to basically be it.

@dannybonura3927 Last time they had to defend they just left. I forget the incident but this was around 2010 I believe. China just took an island.

Bruh the submarines are working unimpeded how are they not just mercing almost any combat ships? Surface fleets aren't necessary to just completely sink ships. If you want true control they're very important and even more so for actual power projection, however if you're trying to deny control and sink transports they're more effective than any surface fleet. Also completely ignored India which is part of the anti-chinese alliance. Japan just completely decided to give up. I agree with the other comments this is a best-case scenario.

@CM-wr6zn Not always. And honestly superior training has trounced numbers in many instances. Especially when you can execute defeat in detail of enemies via encirclements. Also worth noting that at this point you can levy your industry a lot harder than your manpower. French took over the continent and 6 coalitions almost entirely by artillery and encirclements and that was in the early 19th century. Big guns do a lot of damage. British took over India via drill (even though they did also use guns).

I think it's just agreed that Americans are just an incredibly strange aberration in human history

Tbh China is investing in Africa for the same reason.

@hughmungus2760 Who did that?

If an execution fails, really should have your sentence commuted to a lesser punishment.

Brazilian Expeditionary force? And when will the CANZUK countries finally push forward to actually attain great power status? Still surprised at the French.

If you're doing extinction then what about the Permian extinction which took out 90%-90% of all life?

Educate me of these references!

@Ethan99752 Tbh the Americans were the closest to doing so but leaving 0 support for the army which was trained basically doomed them.

@araarasayonara6163 So is basically everyone else. I'm 99% sure that only China likes China and the rest of Asia is basically looking for any excuse and backing to shut them down. A few countries, like I believe Singapore, however benefit from such a major power relying on trade.

@frederickwilliams4727 Yeah not the point. And here they do. Taiwan still fights anyway since that's only half of the island.
1
@seanzhang3873 That's also optimistic and as they said Taiwan also has spies in China. Though Taiwan has measures in place to basically survive assassinations at least on the military front. It's basically impossible to do that with no resistance. And you bet anyone trying to slow things down would be executed in such an important operation.
1
@seanzhang3873 Sure. Point is that they'll all be destroyed though so it's kind of a non-issue. US and Japan also have the eastern side of the island to land on.

@treeinc8897 Explain further?
