  1. This is reflected in most of the world that the affluent focus on their single child. However, it is also reflected in values of either valuing children or valuing personal economic growth more. And of course those who pursue the growth will focus on it more than those who pursue the children. This is why Europe and Japan are in a demographic decline even though they had no formal policy. I'm interested in how this goes forward especially in my home country of the US which seems to value both in equal measure owing to its strong continued ties to religion
