@airgin3000 No freedom in Asia. It's not in the DNA. You get some lifestyle benefits and maybe tax benefits in a few. But you're just a number there & you'll NEVER be one of them. They're cooked with a collectivistic mindset, which I assume since you're here, is what you're trying to get away from. Invest there but I'm immensely skeptical on living there. Just a different world. Colombia a lot of people like but too criminally-charged I think. You have to be suuper street smart there. Mexico is the obvious choice there and Eastern Europe IMO. Just pick your state in Mexico carefully.

@ss Don't confuse standard of living with freedom

@settyphon9340 Yea man I understand your reasoning, I've spent about 20 minutes highlighting benefits of Oman to girlfriend and she goes' I don't think I'm interested...' I was like you could have stopped me 2 minutes in... but anyway I just think that it'd be nice to have a back up. If you have a residency permit there (Bahrain, UAE, Oman) you get the tax benefits but i'd probably want to spend the other 9 months of the year elsewhere. It may be best to have one place where you have your money, another where you do your living/tax and another where you get the lifestyle benefits. That way you're not stuck in each one. I think Mexico is the lifestyle play for me, personally.

@settyphon9340 Ah youre good buddy. Pay tax in Qatar (none) and get other benefits abroad!

@thomasmaresh5264 I agree Thomas, Curacao was either police enforcing covAIDs measures or gangs going through the streets on bikes or motorcycles, felt really dodgy and the people i dealt with her scammy. Aruba walked home late numerous times (a few kilometres) felt abandoned for the most part lol not many people out and about in the living areas. I pretty well have it in my mind that i'd love to go back to Aruba but I wouldn't ever go back to Curacao.

@settyphon9340 nope im not but better than Qatar for sure. Bahrain has a lot of advantages its just when you get into the weeds its really not free in many respects. And while monarchies are good for freedom relative to democracies (in my opinion) these leaders align with the WEF globalist ideals. Debt to GDP is high there too. I just wouldn't go all in on there man but understand you planting a flag there. I think the region will do really well

@settyphon9340 Running out of food now, massive protests, indigenous causing uprising, hit hard by fuel costs, insane lockdowns where you were allowed outside for 1 hr a day and shopping was one per household in alphabetical order. USA feels they can fuck with it. Guerrilas in the east. Panama is a great long term play cause of the confidence, banking, territorial tax system, central airport & canal. But I wouldnt live there. Felt ppl were unfriendly and the city is not a big money saver. Rural Panama in expat communities is probably best. But my friend from Paraguay (!) Said how bad the poverty gets when you see those areas. Some were unfriendly too to me and can be hot (minor details). I think Panama is good for your assets and not your ASS. Theyre also guilty until proven innocent and reading the declaration form you sign before travelling there you are legally signing away your soul where they can do anything (medically) to you and quarantine you for nothing (currently still in place). Also had VaxPasses are/were in place. Unfortunately, I changed my mind on there as i was looking to move there too.

Bahrain had one of the worst invasions of privacy with their CovAIDs app tracking. WEF applauded their work on herding the sheep. I agree economically... But I was wrong in assuming they'd be the new bastions of freedom. Youll get great investments there but besides Oman i personally wouldnt want to park by ass in those countries

Thank you thank you for telling the truth here

Would you say theres a lot of woke sheep in Switzerland? One thing ive noticed is theyve become increasingly political on a global scale outside of neutrality
