@thebradmanofmuskoka I don't know man, I see these numbers about privacy and yea it's good to diversify there and even if we assume they never took CovAIDS seriously (which they did, they're entering another lockdown). It's just too wild to live there IMO. It's just another failed state, with Low IQ city-dwellers fighting over streets.
I only like Monero with cryptocurrency and other things ehhh there may be more that meets the eye going on there but El Salvador are actually making some moves trying to flip the ship around. Lots are moving to Nicaragua (but not because of changes). A lot of these places are backwards, dirty, loud, impoverished...
Basically what I'm saying is if you don't feel free to go for a midnight jog.. you're not in a free country. Maybe some people are like who wants to run at midnight anyway? Yea fair enough. But for me at least they lurks in the back of mind that "who can I trust, is someone looking at me, where shouldn't I go and when". The scamdemic just showed how horny the politicians were for power or at least how much CIA influence they were subjected to, but yea I guess your original question by saying "word on the street" matters.
I've spoken to 4 people who went to Panama numerous times and basically said unless you speak Spanish, are okay with shitty service, or are rich (or all 3), than find somewhere else. My personal experience with Panama is 'slooowww' service, but its good. There's a distinct rich and poor there. It's not like the postcard photos.
