SystemD as "de-facto" init system made all other systems almost dead, kinda stalled progress in development. OpenRC was somewhat active "competing" project and Runit picked up some steam too. The only sad thing is SysVinit. Wish it had some more activity. De-facto in Linux is really fukin bad. Imagine all the projects say that Debian or Ubuntu becomes de-facto Linux system and all the other ones will still be out there but they would be kind of forgotten as no developers would target those anymore.

In virt-manager you can use even 3d acceleration in a VM with help of virtio and virgl by setting display to Spice, listen to None and checking OpenGL also in Video QXL change QXL to Virtio and checking 3D accel iirc Wa-bam, you can now play 3d games inside of VM with good performance (currently not aupported for windows guests, sadly)

Rest in peace Derek!

Despite many people bashing it for being Chinese spyware, it's IMHO the best Linux desktop distribution. At the end Apple and Microsoft <del>stole</del> borrowed the design for their modern OS from it

Fair enough, you can have stable system if you don't update your system. I mean, from security point of view it is subpar solution, but well, it is an option.

Plot twist those are WSL2 Ubuntu installs Any way, i think you have to make a video about enabling package contest on WSL2 at least. In my head it is probably disabled by Microsoft guys and instead it would benefit foss crowd in a way
