  2.  @robbraxmantech  well i don't know per-se but since messenger is facebook messaging platform then yes. I blieve since discovery of facebook data collection some users began utilizing simple encryption methods like cesares encryption but then they were contacted by moderation about stopping that and facebook rules were changed to prohibit that. Latter users encrypting messages were warned and banned due to "suspicious activity"
