I'm not that opposed to advertisement in the usual sense, however you make good point about them triggering you, to get most attention. Seriously the more time passes ads become worse and worse, including forced temu ads, to the point of getting brain rot, nervous and psychological, actual health problems. Blocking. Them. Is. The. Right. Way. Please support your free ad blocker developers, and ofc Grayjay!

  7. Bro your point is only for hardware point of view. The problem is software. Phones don't have standardized BIOS like pc. They do have custom boot/recovery etc. which is locked almost always. On PC you can install any OS prepared for it, android phones should be likewise, but they are different per SoC, not just arm64, and require DTS device trees which vendors lock in some way.

  18. I think the reason is different USBC charging protocols, some charger may support low voltage chargers others only high voltage charging. Some as well may not charge without a feedback of charge level or something of sort (stuff that has USBC per pins directly connected into battery)

  26. Have you tried linux+GNU as your operating system? In some sence it is almost like macOS but free (as in freedom) or you could try FreeBSD or any other BSD like OpenBSD or NetBSD. Those are closer to macOS, freebsd's kernel is the one that MacOS kernel is based on

The 'solutions' to them in software world have made software so much slower. Whenever you want to complain about even powerful computer being slow, blame secops) for your processors encrypting and decrypting every step. Which in the end is only 'secure' for the time being, nothing is truly secure in the end.
