@raisarwanath4484 Actually that thought is prevalent throughout South Asia. And it's completely contradictory to Sikhism, it's the desi culture that carries this problem. My issue with your comment is you make it sound like Sikhi encourages this, when that is not true. Additionally, not ALL Punjabis still think this way, some do, which is really horrible but yeah.

and it's incredible these people have the audacity to call themselves Sikh. Clearly they don't understand what Sikhi is - if they did, they would know how important progressiveness and equality is.
