It's not just a deposit people struggle with, if your on a low wage and you can't save up for multiple years you won't be able to get a house because of traditional high house prices, factor In the cost of living and still low house prices and u still can't afford it , on of the biggest barriers I found was ridiculous rent prices over the years the government had just let the landlords charge whatever they like a open book,,now that needs regulating .. but hey surprise surprise most of the government is landlords so it's not exactly in their best intrest to cap rents..you get the impression the government want 99% of the public poor to keep people in their social place so only the top 1% matter to them.

  2. @MandyAustin-nl4cn  are you for real, landlords put their rent up most years..silly comment 🤣...and most landlords have multiple properties,,my last Landlord had that and was building there own home to and had a holiday 🏡..no one is subsidising anything get real.🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
