My partner and I went on holiday to Switzerland and we had a rental flat and it had no television, it had radio and about ten CDs - most importantly it had no internet access. I had brought three weighty tomes which in the week we were there - I finished - my partner didn't bring any books so I lent him one of mine which he enjoyed. When we needed to book a hotel for the next stage in advance on the Internet I went with my then netbook and hovered round the railway station and got a free signal and did the biz.
