Similar story was with the A1Skyraider since it was conceived in a hotel on a napkin. The Mosquito was also designed in a tavern. On the other hand the Soviet version of the B29 was designed in a Soviet work/prison camp.

@Lord.Kiltridge Thank you. That is right. Yeah the 1920's airplanes were more luxurious and plush.

@lairdcummings9092 Thank you. Do you mean that the Soviet Tu4 was on par with the B29 in the overall quality? The B29 had its teething problems in the US(the engine overheating etc.)

Or like the Gotha Bomber or that WWI British bomber.

@jasc4364 Thank you.

@lairdcummings9092 Thank you. The Soviets did it after the WWII without a single US engineer to assist them. Just like with their first jet engine RR Nene. So they avoided the 2B$ bill. It is hard to believe that.

@chipsrafferty8362 Yeah otherwise the B52 will be unnoticeable.

@lairdcummings9092 Thank you. What was that other aircraft?

@JM-lk6wo Thank you. I meant they reverse engineered it they continued to produce it without a license.

@lairdcummings9092 Thank you.Was it a jet engined or prop driven airplane? Was it the predecessor to the Bear?

Is the following model of the B52 going to be powered by the engines used on the C17? It should not be surprising that the following models after this be upgraded with some ion engines and the payload of gravity and guided bombs and missiles becomes a device known as the Death Star. The North Korean bomber work horse and the BUFF are going to be around at least for another century. A brilliantly interesting video.
