So that is why the SKS is so well built and sturdy. An Immensely interesting video. Were there any UBGLs during the WW2. This rifle lacked an underbarrel Katyusha or Bazooka. Was it difficult to acquire a sight picture with this rifle since it is so long? Lazy Soviets they could have adapted it for some electro optical sights of the day. But no they did not like heated cockpits and seats too. Was this rifle optics ready anyway?
