  22. He's actually semi correct around the statement of prices being linked to energy. It happened around the world and companies absolutely blamed high prices on higher energy costs. The dishonest part is refusing to acknowledge that they hiked prices to protect profit margins. It's the small and medium businesses that suffered as a result as they don't have the buying power or investor backing of these massive multinationals... Any reporter/journalist should be challenging this fool on that point. Technically, becoming energy independent should bring prices down but, where it matters, it won't so, wages have to increase to keep up with the high prices or, taxes have to reduce to give people the buying power again via disposable income. This is why Harris/Walz are going to win this by a larger margin than people realise. Regardless of the polls, the noise elsewhere is pointing to a massive shift away from this arseclown.
