  1. ***** Who says the Cayman is more enjoyable?  The Cayman is really too fast for ordinary roads... all the potential with little chance to use it while keeping your license.  On the other hand, you can use all the performance of the Fiesta ST on every drive.

  2. Mini - Only 189hp from a 2.0L turbo!? That's ridiculous - sounds like it's detuned on purpose to leave room for go-faster versions.  The Fiesta ST gets more from a 1.6.  Are they having a laugh, for example: Megane 2.0 265bhp, Focus 2.0 260ish bhp?, WRX 2.0 265 bhp - and those cars aren't that aggressively tuned anyway.   And we know the Polo GTI is detuned. Strange :/ Also, cool that the Mini comes in  a 5-door nowadays.  BMW certainly maximising Mini production.

  3. ***** It's a hot hatch - that's the POINT. All reports are that the Fiesta ST has superb steering, gearbox, brakes and engine and is a riot to drive. Feel free to stick to your boring VWs - like this VW Polo GTI with it's sloppy gearshift, light steering and general blandness... ;)
