Thank THG🎀 For this sweet History video....A little story here....When l was growing in the late 1940's and 1950's....l went to school in a little two school house ans each room was heated by a big pot belled stove in the back of the room...The boys had to carry the coal in to fire the stove...Next to our school was a small general store....I walked to school about a mile and 1/2 from our house each day of school l was given $25 cents to buy my dinner at that little general store....Thay sold Licorice sticks about 14 inches long for a nickle each and boy it was good... Shoe🇺🇸
