The religion of Hinduism did not attempt to explain the origins of life or to give privileged answers to philosophical questions. It does not provide answers to questions such as "Why am I here?" "What's the meaning of life?" and "Where did I come from?".. Instead, it was · designed to help people to come to terms with the wonder and terror of. existence. It asked more questions than it answered, designed to hold the people in an attitude of reverent wonde.
