  2. Generic Person They used it because they had no other small AA available, not because they were stupid and didn’t see it was a bad weapon. A bad small-caliber AA gun is still better than nothing.

  3. Frank DeMaris The reason for continued production of bad small caliber AA by the Japanese was lack of industrial capacity to switch over to better weapons, IIRC, rather than lack of recognition.
