  1. China is just a skeleton of its former self from pre-COVID and pre-economic collapse. It’s real population by now can’t be more than 500 - million and perhaps as low as 300 - million. They’ve never reached 1.4 billion population since they were only about 1 - billion before the One-Child-Policy from 1980. A fertility rate of 2.1 is the minimum for replacement to maintain population. Then subtract the hundreds of millions killed by COVID which have become even worse in China since 2020, and further subtract those other millions who died from their self inflicted floods of the last few years. China now is just a country with the strength of Pakistan while they flaunt their large but junk military power.
