Duterte has sold out to China regarding the SSC. China does not allow him to purchase military assets for external defense. He is shameless.

@donkoh5738 , it starts from the top who is the president acquiring military assets for external defense. All Du30 did is procrastinate and made promises but he has not moved much. His other accomplishments are just parts of what a president is responsible for but, he is failing on this major issue.

@alfredgomes3614 , but Duterte has only till 2022 in his tenure. The next president will be anti-China as the people want him to be.

@donkoh5738 , the 15 yr modernization has been so much delayed that the last 6 years cannot possibly complete what was planned for acquisitions. They’re going to have to stretch this to another 5 years. And for a country whose EEZ has been so bastardized, the Presidents seem to be taking its sweet time.
