Despite the fact that the Bismarck blew up the Hood, the Hood in turn “stabbed the Bismarck on her side” before her abrupt death, leaking fuel and why the Bismarck was forced to alter course to occupied France for repair. This in turn exposed Bismarck to the entire Royal Navy who finished her off- a tragic end to both spectacular warships. 😢

@renzjosephremo4143 , tracking a ship who refused to be seen in a wide ocean was precarious at best because of the old technology they had.

@richhughes7450 , thank you for the correction. I still would want to give co-credit to the majestic Hood for the Bismarck damage. If it weren’t for her courage in challenging the Bismarck as the lead ship, POW shot to Bismarck would not have happened.
