  1. China thought it can take on the world all by itself being the “factory of the world.” In a short order, they find themselves falling economically face first and, this fall is now irreversible. They still “shoot back” because of their huge ego but, it’s effect is almost negligible having lost so much economic might.

  2. Unseen Fortunes, if I were a strategist and have gotten my opponent on his knees, I’d ask for a surrender than allow him to gain his strength back and begin another round of combat. In China’s case, I would look to dismantle the severely weakened CCP then work for a new democratic government.
