  1. Lei, thank you for your data analysis. They are the closest to my estimates all along but my estimates seem to be more depressed. I know the 800 million population data on China you made did not account for their COVID deaths as it seems to have picked up again. I’d say by now their COVID deaths would be at least 300 million. So I’m at 500 million China population at most. Then you data for China’s current GDP do not extend to the tens of thousands factory leaving in the last two years with unemployment of tens of millions of recent graduates. So China’s GDP by now should be no more than 4 trillion (less than Japan). Furthermore, there’s still the Trump and European tariff trade increase which will decimate more Chinese jobs. We will have to wait and see how much lower China’s GDP will go down to.

  2. @ , India is not too far from China’s current GDP. In a couple of years China will be less than the Philippine GDP.
