  1. When Gene Roddenberry died, I was saddened for two reason: (1) for the lost of a great sci fi writer and, (2) for the death of the Star Trek genre that I suspected would turn into political correctness shows. Now we have political correctness that’s gone on overdrive.

  2.  @caiusmadison2996  , surviving on nostalgia does not take you far enough. The original series have been replayed for the nth time and is still popular with the new generation. Now you can’t see them for free unless you pay to subscribe.
