What China doesn’t understand is the Philippines under American military protection as a treaty partner, is configuring an asymmetric military prowess that even with only American power as back-up, can by itself negate the paper tiger Chinese navy and junk Air Force and their unreliable missiles and their questionable targeting systems. China’s Military toys and military personnel used to looks dreadful by early 2000s, but have since been analyzed as nothing but facade with questionable capabilities and questionable personnel training. Allies have now lost respect for its false formidability that even the Philippine Military upon completion of its Military upgrades and training can confidently take on this Chinese military facade. The Philippines will soon be the new regional military and economic power of the northern ASEAN while Indonesia will be the regional power of the southern ASEAN.
