Bezos would rather spend taxpayers’ money to go to orbit and the moon with no risk to him. Musk has spent his last dime risking SpaceX just to prove he can deliver the goods.

Lobbying and lawsuits were the old ways of doing business. Elon is doing it through scientists and engineers and, it works better.

The danger is, he might sell his technology to China. That’s the one that returns his rockets back to earth and, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chinese are offering him something for it. Someone please remind him, treason is now a deadly crime under Trump.
