China embraces communism so much that we will see interesting results between this communist state vs. the democratic country of the Philippines. These are countries who are located side by side; the communist China being protected and esteemed by Western communist news media while the Philippines being a country economically isolated by Western communist and maligned by the same press. These social experiments will yield important test results to finally settle which forms of government would be better for governments and its people. Already, communist China have started decades ahead having been heavily invested on by the communists in the West while the Philippines with recent and more moderate investments from Japan and SK. While communist China still leads in industrialization, there are now glaring signs that China has reached economic and demographic breaking point. Their quality of life having started as communist since the end of ww2 have only dwindled into a sorrier state. On the other hand, the Philippines, despite its economic isolation from the communist West have brought their quality of life from happy to happiest and, are now in the beginnings of industrialization while showing long term economic sustainability. China have been hated and untrusted by countries around the world since its rise while the Philippines is just now being discovered as the friendliest country in the world at the time when the internet is able to show more and more of the realities around the world.

John Bezz, there are corruption in every country. It's all relative but, what I'm talking about are extreme corruption by govts who manufacture drugs, human trafficking, assassinations, treasons, theft of intellectual properties, banking and financial fraud, forced evictions etc etc. The Western communists and China are on the apex of corruption. Quality of life in the Philippines including those who are defined as poor are better than China and the West. Some people in the Philippines deprived of cars, latest TV, garages, big houses can still provide enough foods for their families, HS education for kids, all kinds of public transportation readily available and a moderate housing. Don't read or listen to the communist media because they despise the Philippines. This country is proving that having many children, no- divorce laws and non-abortion works much better for a society and its economic progress. Catholic Philippines is the antithesis of liberal communist teachings.

Sheila Uy, I can't find your other comment about Chinese billionaires in the Philippines. Anyhow, most successful Chinese in the Philippines convert to Catholicism. They have transformed themselves to Filipino Catholics. The Chinese I dislike are communists. And those abortionists in the US are liberal pagans. Protestants use contraceptives and allow the first 2- trimester of abortion, equally sinful as well.
