  1. How can China go up in population from 1 billion in 1980 to 1.4 billion in 2019, a time when they had the One-Child-Policy? It’s equivalent to having a Fertility Rate of 1 for forty years while growing another 40% in population? With a FR of 2.1, that span of almost forty years should only yield the same population of 1 billion. Conservatively, I would place China’s population at 600-700 million before the Covid pandemic in 2019. With their Covid death and disasters, China’s population should be down 300-400 million with at least 25% seniors.

  2. That’s the big problem of China - failure to accept Christianity as their religion. It is not a wonder why China is undergoing such turmoil in its society and economy. It is God’s punishment to a proud country.
