  1. Wrapping up excess foods after a celebration is 100% Filipino. Wasted food is looked upon by Filipinos as God’s grace being thrown away whether you’re rich or not. Taiwan just copied this practice from its next door neighbor. Taiwan doesn’t say much but, it tries to copy the Philippine Christian culture. Taiwan had always been like China and much of their behavior had always been the current way even before their communism.

  2.  @Riler-uc3mu  , Christian Filipinos don’t offer food for the dead. Any food found in Funeral homes may just be for snacks and Filipinos don’t see that as a problem when taken home. Don’t compare Filipinos to he East Asians.

  3.  @dieptrieu6564  , starving Filipinos are way back in the past. There are perhaps more starving Chinese and Singaporeans now than Filipinos. The hype about the Philippines being a third world country is getting too old. You had better get updated information or you’ll look ignorant.
