  1. Serpentza, do not forget, these generation of Chinese are descendants of those who fought and drove the Nationalists out of China and into that island of Taiwan. They burned Catholic Churches and their schools and murdered the missionaries as well and, grew up being told that communism is the best system in the world. That is why up until now they still are deluded in their communist principles and believe everything the CCP tells them. Even as students in foreign lands, they still cling to the idea of communist superiority despite proof around them that people enjoy real freedom. They are therefore, not exactly innocent victims as you declare them to be. When you talk this way, you seem to be propagating the myth that regular Chinese citizens are not complicit with their government which many of them are. Perhaps it’s only now that in this pandemic that many of them will realize their communist system is flawed despite many still believing otherwise. You may have to reconsider your stance on this Chinese myth that you hold that the regular Chinese are victims rather than staunch communist supporters and, you’ll find it all makes sense why their behavior is disgusting. “If their govt says ..........., they (the Chinese people) will likewise do .........,” you said. You make it sound like their domesticated animals or pets of created inferior minds and with no consciences which they have. They are higher intelligence Homo sapiens with consciences and should be held responsible for their individual guilt. Why are there some who are arrested and we in the West declare them as “prisoners of conscience?” Because they are with individual consciences as I said and, they should be held with higher regard and individual accountability. In the end, there is the “separation of the wheat from the tares” as mentioned in the Bible. Despite being in a communist society as in China or pagan one, as in Ancient Rome, a soul is still held to account and, that’s why there are prisoners of conscience in China and just as Christians had faced the lions of the ancient Roman arenas.
