There are no smiles and these same people know they are being monitored 24/7. Compare video clips of people living in a free society where you’ll see some people smiling, having friendly chats with each other and are more relaxed. Of course videos of people going to or leaving work or in school campus at the middle of the day may not show these as much but in China people are always tense.
