Malaysia is now the laggard of ASEAN, and Vietnam’s exports are slowing down. The Philippines and India are the top 2 in GDP rise.

@Figures14 , even Taiwanese and SK advanced chip making are manufactured by low-end Taiwanese technicians. Taiwan only hired an America-educated Taiwanese and later was asked to guide them in making the advanced chip with their financial backing. Where did they get the machines - from the Dutch, 80% of them are American equipment. And the designers of the chips are Americans. I’m sure SK has the same story. When Taiwan and SK can make their own chip machines and design chips for manufacturing, I’ll be impressed. So Taiwan technicians and SK assemble them as well as the Philippines as the next step. Now, cry me a river.

@genuinennessbefitting4734 , Taiwan still had to buy the UV machine from ASML from the Netherlands. Where else can you buy chip making machines in this world except that company? Scientist is just a title, but the experience can differ between each one. So the prime scientist had used assistance to complete his work.
