Singapore keeps living in the past. Their wealth simply started with being a distribution marine hub for Asia and their location was their lucky break. Yes, we can say that they managed their capital well enough to make them sufficiently rich but, their blind emulation of the Western life style is their undoing. They face a severe depopulation problem like the West, and this is taking them down to the lostof their standard of living in a few years. The new King of Asia will be the Philippines.
