It’s like saying I’m deadlocked in talk with my neighbor regarding the use of my car because he needs it for his own use. Until the Philippine leadership show that you have enough power and will not backdown from a military battle, China, Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia will always stick to their false claims on Philippine water territories. The dream of extracting natural resources from the WPS will have to come after driving away China militarily which will entail a minimum of a few sunken Chinese ships for proof of resoluteness just like the resoluteness the Japanese, SK and Indonesia had shown over their own EEZ. I hope that the Philippine leaders are intent on their urgent acquisitions numerous fighter jets, submarines, warships and more mobile missile launchers for the above reason I stated, and for the possibility that a world war or a regional war might erupt soon. Having Philippine islands taken as hostage could be the next Chinese step while the US might decide to pull back to the next island chain. Be aware, the US Military is for the US first and not for the Philippines as its first.
