  1. The answer to the question asked by the Jewish man as to why they didn’t think Jesus wasn’t the Messiah is because their concept of a Messiah is that of Judas Iscariot. They were looking for a warlord and king who would rule exclusively their ethnicity, lead them to battles so they can be lords of the world while the rest of humanity will be treated as second class peoples.
