  1. Why is it sad when Filipinos work abroad? Filipinos work abroad both in the professional and skilled level because many countries have aging population and lack workers. The truth of the matter is: a lot of workers from other countries envy Filipinos for being well accepted as workers in so many countries. And, working locally isn’t any easier anyway. Just accept the fact that life is tough and one needs to do the right things to gain things in life.

  2.  @jhoohnan19 , if you’re working away from family, I understand it’s an issue. But, aren’t they temporary workers on contracts? That means you go back home after 6- months then have an option to renew your contract. What would be the difference with the US sailors and officers who are sent on patrol for six months then go home for a bit; then go patrol again until their four-year contract with the Navy expires. Life is tough and the tough survives this world better.
