  1.  @Sharperthanu1  Quantum mechanics is much more in line with Taoism that with any Western religion or philosophy, which is why it make more sense to Taoists and to Easterners in general.

  2. This is very true. I'd say a big lesson humanity has been learning from its inception is that the more we learn, the more we realize how much more there is that we don't know.

  6. Pretty wild idea that the only really fundamental thing in nature is the multiverse and that our universe is just a convenient fiction we create for ourselves.

  7. I don't know if it's reassuring or disheartening that in the multiverse, our other selves are doing everything we might have otherwise done in this one, such as becoming president or a mass murderer.
