Its become so incredibly expensive to innovate these days that only those with massive amounts of capital can afford to invest in innovation. And yet you are basically cheering that on. Yet every invention requires the use of inventions from the past, many of which are completely free to use. Yet all this knowledge that was built up to get to the point of the newest innovation is ignored. Yet these companies are allowed to patent them and have sole use over it even though none of it would have been possible without people from the past.

  5.  @justsomeguy6336  The capitalist governments? You need to stop thinking governments aren't capitalist. Economics and politics are completely intertwined. If you have a capitalist economic system, you have a capitalist government. Capitalist governments and private enterprises continuously work together to make sure they are the only ones with power. So no, dont blame the government, blame the barbaric socio-economic system were all currently forced to live under.

  6.  @ZimaCyberia  Tell me you know literally nothing about socialism without telling me you know nothing about socialism. And you know there are far more ways of doing things than capitalism and socialism, right? More problems would be solved if we abolished this socio-economic system that demands competition and we switch to one that favors cooperation. We likely would have invented the blue led much quicker if all the groups working towards it constantly shared their research.

  8. The way they fucked him over shows everything wrong with capitalism. Those who create and innovate will always have it stolen by the greedy capitalists. I'm ready for good little bootlickers to tell me how the company risked so much money, while not realizing that's a massive part of the problem. Why should those who's only position is life is owning private property continue to live lavishly off everyone elses labor and research?

People have been murdered in road rage incidents so you can drop the delusions of always getting away. You cant because traffic exists. You are statistically safer on public transit.
