This isnt from the Cuban perspective, atleast not the majority of cubans. This is from the perspective of Cubans who left cuba because they were mad they couldn't own plantations anymore and enslave cubans.

@juliosaiz4365 USA today has concentration camps for immigrants. Today USA has the worlds largest prison population. 22% of the worlds prisoners but 4.5% of the world population. USA had concentration camps for the Japanese during ww2. Do you honestly want to claim that the modern American prisons aren't concentration camps? They perfectly fit the definition. Did you know in Texas there are women serving sentences because they had miscarriage's? What's weird is how Graeme Hunt has been saying all the bad stuff that happened in Cuba is bad, and people like you keep repeating it, while also ignoring the reality of what's still happening in USA today. No where is perfect. We should always criticize things that are wrong regardless of the country. We should however not downplay the reality of the country you live in.

@MateoGarcia-os2yy Studies on the physical quality of life (PQL) using data from the world bank shows that when comparing socialist nations to capitalist nations at the same level of development, socialist nations give an equal or higher quality of life then the capitalist nations. You do realize that Cuba has been under some of the most oppressive sanctions in the world for the past 60 years, right. That's why they are poor, and the sanctions are meant to get the people to overthrow their government, but they haven't because the Cubans by and large love and support their government. They love their government because they ended their dictatorship under Batista and raised the living standards of everyone instead of just a tiny few. There living standards would be even higher if the authoritarian USA government would finally end the oppressive sanctions, which every nation in the world but 3 wants to happen because the sanctions are inhumane and illegal. I would love for you to explain how a system where the workers control the means of production is worse than a system where a tiny select few control the means of production for their own personal gain. What's disturbing is the amount of people who fear socialism and communism without even being able to define them correctly, and you are certainly one of those people.

You need more lies from this channel?

@crawlingchaos2811 Your friends grandma probably was mad she lost her peasants.

@paulszymanski2513 You're really only referencing pre-50's USSR I also think you might have gobbled up some anti-USSR propaganda. Like this video is literally propaganda and not from the perspective of 99% of cubans.

And you still havent hear the Cuban side

@RonaldReaganRocks1 Socialism works better than capitalism according to data from the world bank. Cuba was in poverty before the revolution. The living standards of Cubans was increased dramatically after the revolution and their poverty is caused by the sanctions from the worlds most powerful nation. Comparing the worlds richest nation that industrialized long before Cuba did, to a poor country that didn't get to start to industrialize until after they had their revolution is massively dishonest. When you compare Cuba to capitalist nations at the same stage of development, we see that Cuba gives a higher quality of life than the capitalist nations. You claim that Cuba would be better of with the USA while ignoring that they were an unofficial USA colony before the revolution and the living conditions in Cuba were so bad that the Cuban people decided to follow people who weren't even Cuban. You don't know what you are talking about and just eat up propaganda. If capitalism is so great, why are there poor capitalist nations?

Because pointing out that USA is the aggressor doesnt fit with the propaganda

@davidmajor1508 Lenin stated that the USSR was state capitalist. I've never heard of anyone claiming Cuba is capitalist until this thread
1
@davidmajor1508 They weren't communist either
1
@davidmajor1508 Didnt realize they were a stateless, classless, and moneyless society... Communist leadership does not equal communism
1
@davidmajor1508 I have read more than enough theory. Its pointless to try an educate me when it seems you fail at defining communism itself. Anyone who claims the USSR was communist really shouldn't try to come off as the smart one.

@brndonlu9635 Communism big bad scary omg 100 bajillion dead no iphone vuvuzela
1
The collapse of the soviet union was illegal and undemocratic, and communism is far from dead and will win in the end, so cope harder.
1
@lmcguiness5476 The communists won WW2. They lost far more than we did.
1
@lmcguiness5476 Every western European nation also did or tried to sign an non aggression pact with Germany before the USSR did. The USSR did so only after the western European nations refused to join an alliance with the USSR. Why dont you know these things?
1
@lmcguiness5476 Your parents were literally terrorists demonizing innocent people who had nothing to do with 9/11 and were there just to make our oligarchs rich.
1
@DrDoomsd Hitler was not a socialists. There's a reason he killed socialists. Fascism is a tool for capitalism to fight communism. Hitler used a socialist party to gain popularity since socialism is based, the he ousted all the socialist from the party. Then he killed them. The western European nations all did or tried to have non-aggression pacts with Germany before the USSR did, and before the USSR did, the commies tried to make an alliance with the western powers but they didn't want to so then the USSR did the non aggression pact with Germany to buy themselves more time. Kinda don't think (I know) you don't know your history.

Now if only we didnt push the USSR by aggressively surrounding them by nuclear weapons. What Ame re icans feared during the Cuban missile crisis, the Russians felt nonstop.
1
@misein1 Why dont you tell us exactly what books we should be studying to learn about the rise of communism. I'm sure you have a very long list of books. I'm also sure you have read plenty of communist theory so you can combat it correctly...
1
@yoppindia This video is from the American perspective of what they think of Cubans went through. It's not from the majority of the Cubans perspective.
1
@davidschaftenaar6530 You dont see the contradiction in surrounding the USSR with nukes and then crying when they place one near us...
