non-competes are very capitalistic. Capitalism has nothing to do with competition and it never has. The point of capitalism is to capitalize. The point is to make as much profit as possible.

Monopolies are intrinsic to capitalism because the goal for capitalists is to own more private property to generate more profits. Monopolies are the natural consequence of capitalism. Marx does a great job of laying out how that is true in "Capital". For it to be a defeatist perspective, the person saying it must believe capitalism is how we should organize our economic and social system. For the many people who want capitalism abolished, there is nothing defeatist about believing the monopolies are intrinsic to capitalism or that it cant be regulated. We have hundreds of years of capitalist history, all of it incredibly bloody, and more than enough examples of it being regulated and then those regulations latter on being repealed because the capitalists worked for decades to make it happen. Capitalism can not be regulated indefinitely. In the European countries you likely think of when you think of socialism being mixed with capitalism, they are slowly losing all the social safety nets due to the capitalists working to get rid of them so they can capitalize everything. We saw it happen here in USA too.

@SgtJoeSmith Sounds like you have no idea how the world works. If they train non one to do the job, the job cant get done. And if you want to retain employees, you need to pay them better with better benefits instead of trapping them with a contract.

Either trans women are women or they are not. There is nothing in the middle of that. If they are women, and they are, then they should be able to compete with other women. Any restriction means they aren't considered women. Trans women hardly ever win in the sports they compete in. Yet when they do, many people, yourself included, likely assume there was an unfair advantage, meaning, trans women will never be allowed to win if they want to be allowed to compete. What's the point in competing if you have to throw the game to allow a cis-woman to win? You see, there is no middle ground here, and you wanting to find one adds to the pressure to stop trans women from competing now, which means you are siding with the right. This means you are on the right. I am 100% certain that you dont have a single opinion that would fall on the left.
