  1.  @Gfish17  Big difference between you playing a pickup game with your friends which generates zero revenue, and playing for a college sports team that generates million/billions of dollars of revenue. Not to forget that the college athlete has likely dedicated a huge part of their life to the game, where you may play ball with the boys a few times a month.
