When the Europeans started doing their mass genocide in the Americas, many Indigenous peoples ended up killing their new born babies because they didn't want them to have to grow up knowing nothing but struggle and the death of their people. "not taking that opportunity away from them because you are scared of what kind of life they may or may not experience." You can not take away an opportunity from a being that does not exist.

The modern person working 40 hours a week works more than hunter gatherers ever did, and they had significantly more freedom than we have today.

Trees on the east coast were spread so far apart that the first Europeans who came commented about how you could move an army through it. Buffalo, New York is named so because there used to be Buffalo there because the Indigenous peoples managed the land to make it habitual for them so they can use the buffalo as a resource. They also did all of this without any animal labor, and they never domesticated any animals. Indigenous peoples already knew that nature doesn't and shouldn't be left untouched, but managed so all life prospers, including that of animals. They didn't need any fancy sci-fi tech to do this. We dont need fancy technology to do it either. We need to stop believing that technology holds all the answers.

@slavic_commonwealth "Dude, how do you think the rich got rich?" They got rich by seizing the worlds resources and doing mass genocide around the world. It has nothing to do with them having kids and everything to do with the fact that they are willing to let millions suffer just so they can feel powerful. If it was a generational thing, logically, we would all be rich right now since we all have family trees that go back tens of thousands of years.
