  1. ​ @useyourbrain1539 Sorry, but the American making $15 an hour is paying more than 12% in taxes. They also have to pay state taxes and, depending where you live, city taxes. Then, if they are lucky, they also have to pay for a premium on healthcare, something that is taken care of with taxes in Denmark. More likely is that person making $15 an hour has no health insurance at all. They also get almost nothing for those taxes paid, where as in Denmark, they have very strong social saftey nets. Maybe factor in all this stuff next time and you would seem so ignorant.
