  1. I'd say the majority of american eating out is eating garbage from fast food places, and should absolutely be avoided.

  2. i dont understand people who eat out so much... I eat out maybe once a month... even if you can afford it (which in this economy, how...), how and why do you want to spend so much time doing it? just driving to a restaurant takes more time than making a quick meal, but when it's all done you've wasted at least an hour.
