  1. re: checking the primary source, and how if something is wrong it's usually the top comment: that is exactly why I never trust a video or article with comments disabled. it's impossible to know if there's a glaring error, without evaluating the entire thing by yourself (which no one has time to do for every video/article they consume). most of the time if comments are disabled, they are trying to hide something.
