  29. if we could just somehow show republicans all the things their tax dollars are being used to subsidize that only benefit rich people, i think we'd all be on the same side. they are pissed about "socialism", yet only find issues with it when it helps poor people. no one is going out of their way to try to stop rich people from getting free handouts.   37. that's completely wrong. every single industry is facing inflation and very very few have raised wages, in fact most have lowered when you account for inflation. they raise prices whenever they can, it has no relation to the actual cost of the products.

  48.  @wishunter9000  or is it perhaps government underreach, for making laws based on current situation and then never revisiting them over the next century. just because it's bad for us now doesn't mean it was the wrong decision for the government to make at the time. and even if it was, the problem is still that we let it sit for 80 years instead of changing it once we realized it's no longer working. I dunno when that was, but at least we can all agree that in it's current state, it's completely broken.
