  1. capitalism ruins everything. private equity is just a distilled representation of how the entire system works. those with captial (wealth) use that money to manipulate the market to grow companies at impossible rates, then when it's big enough they cash out and squeeze as much out of it as they can, then move on to the next thing. that's not just private equity, it's the entire system of capitalism which is designed as a playground for those with capital to extract work from those who dont
