You don't want a DMCA overhaul, you want a copyright overhaul, which is a much bigger and more complicated system, and beloved by megacorporations as it lets them maintain a monopoly and attack anyone who dares defy them. Disney will never ever let us rework copyright system, it's the lifeblood of their company.

  2. DMCA was invented to protect companies from getting sued, and now they abuse it to attack content they don't like. No matter how you look at it, it's anti-consumer.
