  28. as an immigrant to the US i find it appalling that people assume they can just be above the law and walk across the border. It tells a lot about who they are and what habits they have. I also admit they may be running from a desperate situation and have no choice, but that still does not make it legal to cross the border without the formal procedure. i had to go through so many hurdles to even visit the US, not to mention staying in the US, and some folks think they are better than others. If this group is allowed in without the due process of law, why did I have to do everything according to the law? Why am I worse than these folks?
