@mormacil Let's not forget that 40% of farmers are already millionaires. No other branch in the country has that many wealthy people. They don't need help. The people who can't find homes because we don't build enough (thanks to the farmers) need help.

@mormacil Exactly. This would be great for the average Dutch citizen but also for the farmers that would remain. The Dutch agricultural market is extremely oversaturated. Large supermarket chains like Albert Heijn can force very inequitable contracts on farmers who have very little power to negotiate. "You don't want this horrible contract? Fine. Take your changes on a volatile international market." People tend to forget the role of the supermarkets in this whole debacle. While average people are suffering and a lot of farmers are struggling Albert Heijn takes home record profits while still gleefully raising prices on food.

Honestly I am here to try and figure out our political landscape so I can make an informed vote in November. It's pretty helpful to distinguish between the opinions of people who live here and people who don't.

Yes. I corrected all the Poles at the warehouse I work at. They now fully understand the BBB and have made sure they inform their family in Poland as well.

Not really? Groen Links is a fusion of 4 smaller parties. One was a communist party but they made up less than a quarter of what would become groen links.
