If your main point requires changes in the constitution it's safe to say that you're not protecting our culture.

@RNKel1 Just fake outrage. Geert looks odd. He wants to look odd. It's part of his political brand.

@lumpydark6173 I think there's a difference between amending your constitutions and blatantly doing away with one of the cornerstones of our constitution that has been in there since 1814. Freedom of religion. A more apt comparrison would be an American politician trying to remove the 1st amendment of their constitution and then pretending that's not a departure from their culture.

@HALLish-jl5mo I hear what you're saying. Let's compare apples to apples though. If congress repealed the part of the first amendment that gives Americans freedom of religion. Wouldn't that be a significant breach of your culture?

As a Dutch person I feel shame that this racist fairy might represent us.

@RNKel1 Right, and it would be really silly for people to promote gun control and promote the repealing of the 2nd amendment while claiming they're just trying to protect the American culture.

I predict that this will rumble along for a little bit. Geert wil keep struggling to form a coalition. Either he won't be able to and he'll still won't govern. Or he'll be able to form a coalition. He'll be unable to act on any of his points because half of them go against our constitution. Then after a couple years of political waddling and just breaking things for the sake of doing something he'll be voted out again.

@karankapoor2701 If that's the only argument you have then I feel perfectly fine dismissing you as an ignorant with a large mouth and a little brain.

@chunkykong1976 The PVV is now obviously riding a high. If there are new elections then their base will surely be more energized. But if coalition forming takes too long, if there's some scandals, if this period will seem politically unstable then a lot of the old liberal voters who now voted PVV might want to go back to any centrist government and change their votes.

@chunkykong1976 NSC has pulled out of the coalition talks this week. It's currently impossible for PVV to form a majority government. Also PVV roze in the polls because they gobbled up a lot of VVD voters. Which wouldn't help them forming a coalition because those votes would've already been in this coalition.
